"a magnificent soundscape that distills the feeling of springtime."

I have great appreciation for a piece of music that manages to go everywhere and nowhere at the same time, and the luscious layers of “Better Now” are an excellent example of what I mean. The track continuously develops and changes, while staying in many ways constant, naturally allowing a greater appreciation for each accents and layer.

There’s also an excellent vocal performance here, which is accented by meaningful lyrics written and performed in a carefree way. Take a moment to appreciate the tasteful introduction of each sonic layer as the song develops. In particular the introduction of the vibrato guitars and processed drums really gives “Better Now” an ethereal quality.

The artwork for this single is equally wonderful. The color palette is gorgeous, and the layers, textures, and accents match those of the song.

I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did!
